Frequently Asked Questions
Q. When is my cake made for shipping?
We bake all of our cakes fresh for shipping to ensure the best, highest quality king cake.
Q. What is your refund policy?
Although we strive for excellence sometimes, because of the nature of shipping a freshly baked product, there are times where the cake will arrive with some imperfections. These imperfections are normal and sometimes expected during the travel from our bakery to your door in the hands of FedEx. If your cake arrives in excessively damaged shape or if we ship the wrong or incorrect order, we will work with you on replacing or refunding your order.
If there is a mistake made on the order by either wrong shipping address, phone number, flavor, etc and it is not corrected 5 days prior to shipping we cannot issue returns. Cannata’s is also not responsible for shipping delays caused by FedEx. Delays include but are not limited to Weather Delays, Acts of God, or undeliverable addresses.
We strive to make all of our customers happy and want to help as much as possible and we will work with you to try to fix any issue that may arise.
Q. Where can you be reached for questions or comments?
You can send us a message on the website, call our Bakery directly at 985-873-9118, or email [email protected].
Q. Are your cakes vegan?
Our cakes are not vegan.
Q. Do you ship to PO boxes?
FedEx does not currently ship to PO boxes.
Q. Do all of your cakes have nuts or other allergens?
We want to inform everyone that most of our cakes that contain nuts list the type of nut used in the description. Unfortunately, some are a bit more vague, so we feel it’s important to clarify that all of our cakes are not made in a nut-free facility. Also, it’s possible that all of our cakes have come into contact with a surface that once had some form of nut or nut product. Our cakes may contain egg, wheat, soy, gluten, or milk.
